DAY
01
Arrive at Bandaranaike International Airport and take a taxi to Negombo. Spend the night at Uga Riva.

When you get there, meet your own guide and travel to Negombo. Spend the afternoon relaxing by the beach or pool and enjoying the laid-back appeal of this seaside town. Stay overnight at Uga Riva, a classic manor-style boutique hotel that is peaceful and comfortable.

Drive to Kandy in the morning, walk around Kandy Lake in the evening, and stay overnight at The Kandy House.

Go to Kandy, the cultural center of Sri Lanka, in the hill highlands. Take a peaceful walk around Kandy Lake in the evening and appreciate the beautiful scenery. Stay the night at The Kandy House, a renovated colonial house that offers a quiet, luxurious place to stay.

Visit the Temple of the Tooth, the Peradeniya Botanical Gardens, and then have tea or shop for handmade goods in the afternoon. Spend the night at The Manor House in Nugawela Walauwa.

Go to the holy Temple of the Tooth and find out what it means spiritually. Go on to the Peradeniya Botanical Gardens to see strange flora and flower-covered paths. In the afternoon, have highland tea or look at local crafts before going back to The Manor House, a historic Walauwa-style boutique hotel.

Drive to Sigiriya, climb the Sigiriya Rock Fortress, and spend the night at Jetwing Vil Uyana.

Go to Sigiriya, where the famous rock stronghold is. In the afternoon, climb the citadel to admire old paintings, walls that reflect light, and views of the landscape all around. Spend the night at Jetwing Vil Uyana, an eco-friendly architectural retreat constructed above peaceful wetlands.

Visit the Dambulla Cave Temples and the Spice Garden, get a wellness treatment in the afternoon, and spend the night at Jetwing Vil Uyana.

Go to the Dambulla Cave Temples, which are on the UNESCO World Heritage List, and look at the paintings and sculptures of Buddha that are hundreds of years old. Stop by a spice farm in Matale to learn about how spices are grown and how they smell. Go back to Jetwing Vil Uyana for an afternoon spa treatment and a relaxing night in a beautiful setting.

Go to Nuwara Eliya, see a tea plantation, walk about Gregory Lake, and spend the night at Castlereagh Bungalow.

On the journey to the chilly highlands of Nuwara Eliya, stop at a tea plantation and factory. Try some fresh Ceylon tea and appreciate the beautiful views of the undulating plantations. Take a leisurely walk around Gregory Lake in the afternoon, then spend the night at Castlereagh Bungalow, a colonial-style getaway.

Hike in Horton Plains, have a picnic, go back to Nuwara Eliya, and stay the night at Castlereagh Bungalow.

Get up early and trek through Horton Plains National Park to World’s End. Enjoy a picnic in the highlands after taking in the stunning cliffs and foggy valleys. Go back to Nuwara Eliya for a restful night at your boutique hotel.

Drive to Ella, stop at Ramboda Falls, see Nine Arches Bridge and Little Adam's Peak, and spend the night in Thotalagala.

Take a trip to Ella and stop at Ramboda Falls to take pictures and enjoy the beauty. Check out the Nine Arches Bridge and trek to Little Adam’s Peak for stunning views of the highlands. Thotalagala is a high-altitude boutique resort where you may stay the night in peace.

Take a scenic train ride from Ella to Haputale, see tea estates, go to the spa in the afternoon, and stay overnight in Haputale.

Take the beautiful train ride from Ella to Haputale via tea plantations and foggy valleys. Visit local tea plantations to learn about how tea is made and taste it. Take a break in the afternoon at a spa to feel better, then spend the night in a local hill boutique.

Go to the South Coast, go to Weligama, relax on the beach, and spend the night at Cape Weligama.

Go down to the southern shore and get to Weligama. You may spend the day lounging on the golden sands or using the resort’s services. Stay the night at Cape Weligama, a high-end resort on a cliff with individual villas.

Luxury experiences on the coast, whale watching or a spa, a cooking class or sunset cocktails, and an overnight stay at Cape Weligama.

Take a whole day to relax and enjoy yourself. Depending on the time of year, you may choose between a private boat excursion to see whales, a morning spa treatment, or a cooking class in the afternoon. Drinks at sunset by the water are a great way to end the day before spending the night at the resort.

Private Tour of Galle Fort / Back to Cape Weligama / Stay the Night at Cape Weligama

With a private tour, go to Galle Fort and look around the ramparts, colonial residences, and small stores. Come back to Cape Weligama for one last night of luxury and leisure.

Private transfer to Colombo, with the option to stop at the beach, and then leave.

You might choose to stop at a heritage site along the coast on the way back to Colombo. Go to Bandaranaike International Airport to depart, taking with you memories of a wonderful and immersive trip to Sri Lanka.
