01
Arrive in Colombo, have a tour of the city, have free time in the evening, and spend the night in Colombo.

When you get to Bandaranaike International Airport, meet your private guide and go on a tour of the most important cultural and historical sites in Colombo. Go to the Galle Face Green, Pettah Market, and Gangaramaya Temple. Stay the night at a boutique or heritage-style hotel in Colombo.

Go to Sigiriya, climb Pidurangala Rock, see a traditional village, and spend the night in Sigiriya.

Go to Sigiriya and climb Pidurangala Rock to get a great perspective of the Sigiriya Rock Fortress and the landscape around it. You might choose to go on a cultural village trip or see a traditional Sri Lankan culinary demonstration in the evening. Stay overnight at Sigiriya.

Visit the Sigiriya Rock Fortress and the Dambulla Cave Temple. You may also do crafts if you like. Stay overnight at Sigiriya.

Take a guided tour of Sigiriya Rock Fortress, a UNESCO World Heritage site known for its beautiful gardens, old paintings, and clever design. Go to the Dambulla Cave Temple to witness paintings and sculptures of the Buddha that are hundreds of years old.
